Our son, Chris, is employed at a St. John's Hospital in Clear Lake.  He has served honorably in the United States Air Force. He is an RN, Certified Surgical Technologist and Certified First Assistant. You will find him assisting on cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures, wound closure, wound dissection, retracting, and saphenous vein harvest. 

He is also  involved with pre-operative and post-operative patient education, post-operative wound care, assisting with diagnostic arteriography, and coordination of operative schedule.

He has been a member of the Association of Surgical Technologist since 1991, an associate member of the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants and an affiliate member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
