The
Attic |
The basics (Before) |
The existing attic, though large,
was not suitable for habitation.
C. C. & Subs was asked to make it a usable room with a half-bath. |
The stairs would not meet code and had
to be completely repositioned . |
The C. C. & Subs crafted these
windows from scratch to match the other existing windows. Here is an
example of 19th century woodworking skills brought to bear in the 21st
centaury. |
The existing windows
would not meet code and afforded little light. |
C. C. & Subs were faithful
to the 19th centaury design and quality
throughout the house. |
The head clearance was inadequate to
use the original stairs. |
The C. C. & Subs also crafted these
windows from scratch. Just think what they could do to your home. |
And poof, there is now a half-bath
where not even the plumbing was there before to support it. Yet again,
the style of the period is maintained.
