Craftsmanship (After)

The Attic

The basics (Before)

The existing attic, though large, was not suitable for habitation.  C. C. & Subs was asked to make it a usable room with a half-bath.

The stairs would not meet code and had to be completely repositioned .

The C. C. & Subs crafted these windows from scratch to match the other existing windows. Here is an example of 19th century woodworking skills brought to bear in the 21st centaury.

The existing windows would not meet code and afforded little light.

C. C. & Subs were faithful to the 19th centaury design and quality throughout the house.

The head clearance was inadequate to use the original stairs.

The C. C. & Subs also crafted these windows from scratch.  Just think what they could do to your home.

And poof, there is now a half-bath where not even the plumbing was there before to support it. Yet again, the style of the period is maintained.
